Tuttosport reported on Wednesday that Meite’s early good form for Torino had caught the eye of the Milan clubs, but the 24-year-old made it clear he was only focused on the Granata and improving as a player.
“I don’t care about the speculation because I’m happy at Torino and, as they say, only hard work pays,” he told Foot Mercato.
“Serie A has given me something more, what I missed before. This season’s been great and I’ve felt it on the field directly. Now I’m faster and more technical, plus I think quicker.”
The former France youth international joined Toro from Monaco over the summer, in a swap deal with Antonio Barreca, and has scored twice in nine appearances.
