Italian media praised ‘unstoppable’ Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud after Milan‘s 4-0 win over Lazio last night.

The Rossoneri booked their place for the Coppa Italia semi-finals by beating Maurizio Sarri’s side 4-0 at San Siro last night. They’ll meet their city rivals Inter in the semi-finals.

Giroud and Leao took centre stage in the Diavoli’s triumph. The former Chelsea striker found the net twice, while Leao scored one and provided the assist for the Frenchman’s first goal.

Tuttosport and Il Corriere dello Sport described the Portuguese winger as ‘unstoppable,’ while La Gazzetta dello Sport wrote that Leao is ‘Milan’s most talented player’ when he is on his day.

Giroud has four goals from the last two games across all competitions. He had helped Milan take all three points against Inter on Saturday and netted two more against Lazio last night.

Giroud is called ‘Mr. San Siro’ by Tuttosport as the Frenchman has scored each of his ten Milan goals this season at the Stadio Meazza.

Eight goals came in home games. The remaining two were those in the derby, which, on paper, was an away fixture for the Rossoneri.
