“Milan is a dream for me,” he told the Gazzetta dello Sport. “I grew up as a kid with the legend of the Rossoneri.

“I think that I have proved that I can be a part of this squad.”

The 28-year-old has mainly been used from the bench and has scored two goals in 10 games across Serie A, the Champions League and the Coppa Italia for the outfit.

Lopez’ Milan are currently second in Serie A behind Juventus, but the Scudetto dream is still alive at Milanello.

“We are a point behind, but there are still 18 on offer,” continued the South American. “Juventus will drop some points somewhere, we just have to win them all.”
