Belgium Coach Roberto Martinez insists “I have no personal problems” with Radja Nainggolan – “I’ll go to watch him on December 10”.

The Roma midfielder wasn’t called-up for the last international break, but he’ll be scouted at the Milan game in Week 16.

“I have no personal problems with Radja, he’s a great player,” Martinez told La Tribune.

“I like the way he plays football, he hasn’t done anything wrong but others have done better than him.

“The failure to call him up has to do with the positive results against Bosnia and Gibraltar, in any case Radja was injured.

“We managed a total of 10 goals without conceding one. That means the players did well and they deserve their place in the squad.

“The door is still open to Radja, but he has to earn his place. There aren’t 25 players in Belgium who have the quality, but 50.

“Therefore, there must be competition. Nainggolan didn’t play against Bosnia, so it’s normal that he has to convince me he’s OK physically. There’s certainly no problem with Radja though.

“I’ve already arranged to see all the players, on December 10 I’ll go to Italy to watch one of Nainggolan’s games.”
