Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta responds “not really” when asked if Gonzalo Higuain’s move to Milan is done.

Marotta and Bianconeri sporting director Fabio Paratici met with the Rossoneri and Higuain’s agent today, as they look to put the finishing touches to an €18m loan with €36m option to buy.

In addition, Mattia Caldara will be swapped for Diavolo captain Leonardo Bonucci.

However, the Juve general manager appeared to cast some doubt on how close a deal is as he left the meeting with Nicolas Higuain, where Tuttomercatoweb asked if a deal was done.

“Not really…” replied Marotta before leaving.

The website believes that Higuain is asking for a €4.5m loyalty bonus before leaving, something the Bianconeri are not willing to pay, at least at the moment.

For that reason a deal is not complete, but it should still go ahead.
