Genoa President Enrico Preziosi claims departing Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta ‘told me he already had another club’.

Barcelona, Manchester United, Roma, Napoli and even Inter have been mentioned as possible next stops for Marotta, who will leave Juve at the end of the month, and Preziosi seemingly confirmed the 61-year-old was staying in club football.

“He told me that he already had another club,” he said from the offices of Lega Calcio on Monday.

“I guess that’ll be his destiny. He’s finished his cycle and now he needs new stimuli, but certainly not as a commissioner or President of the FIGC.”
