Kostas Manolas assures he won’t be leaving Roma this summer, and states that the aim is “to win something”.

The Greek defender was close to leaving for Zenit St Petersburg last year, but ended up remaining for a fourth season.

“I will make it a fifth,” Manolas told ESPN.

“The future is the fifth year in Rome. If I was not comfortable, I would not be here because I like Roma. I like my life in Rome. My family is good. I will stay.

Manolas was also asked if Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Juventus would boost the profile of Serie A.

“Of course. When one of the best players comes to Serie A, it's a very good thing.

“For us, Ronaldo can be only an extra motivation because when you play against these players, you have to give your best.

“I'd like to see more come. I'd like to even see it in our team with a player like this. I'd appreciate it.”
