Roma defender Kostas Manolas has reportedly hired Mino Raiola as his new agent, who could negotiate a transfer to Manchester United.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport writer Nicolò Schira, the Greek international has decided to bring in the super agent who already deals with the likes of Paul Pogba, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

This would point to a possible departure, or at least re-negotiation of his current contract with Roma.

Manolas is under contract until June 2022 with a release clause worth a more than affordable €36m, a clause that the Giallorossi want to remove or increase significantly.

The 27-year-old has been at Roma since 2014 and was repeatedly linked with a Premier League move.

There have already been several reports over the last few days of Manchester United sending scouts to view Manolas, including during last night’s 1-0 defeat to Juventus.
