Today it was reported Nainggolan has been fined over €100,000 and will be dropped against Atalanta, but his teammate agrees with Monchi.
“I’m in agreement with the sporting director,” Manolas told Sky.
“We must all have a winning mentality. At Roma we all have to play to win, those who don’t think that way can’t have a place in this team.
“Nainggolan? Radja knows he made a mistake, as anyone can. He apologised, he’s a champion and he’s important for the team. We need him.”
“Against Genoa and Chievo we were unlucky. That’s not always the case though. We gave our all against Torino but we conceded two goals which could have been avoided.
“We weren’t hard-nosed enough in the first half against Juventus, but we deserved more in the second. In the end it didn’t happen.
