“We start from tonight. This is a different game, we need the right mentality to win with a three-goal cushion,” the defender told Mediaset Premium.

“We’ve got to avoid the errors we made on all their long balls of the first leg and have to replicate our performance against Barcelona.

“We have to focus on our own performance and playing at our level. If we do that, I think we can go through.

“We too are fast, we too have strong players and we have no fear of anyone.

“The Olimpico, I am certain, will have an even bigger impact on the game than the Anfield crowd did. I’ve been here four years and I have never seen a crowd like this.”
