Devis Mangia has taken President Maurizio Zamparini's criticism on board as Palermo visit Roma. “I've got clear ideas on how to proceed.”

The Coach was lambasted by his patron after a 3-0 defeat to Milan and told the 4-4-2 simply doesn't work with this squad.

“The President has given me some advice and of course I have listened, but ultimately I make the decisions,” assured Mangia.

“I don't think the squad is struggling physically, because what counts more is our mentality. If we are sharp mentally, then the legs follow suit.

“There's no point going back over the performance in Milan, as we know that it was bad. Now we must turn the page.

“Palermo have the right maturity to learn from their mistakes. I have clear ideas on how to proceed and overcome our difficulties.

“Nobody can accuse me of being arrogant. I always try to take the best possible decisions for Palermo, then of course everyone can make mistakes.”

Fabrizio Miccoli might require a late fitness test after stuttering all week, but is in the squad, while Federico Balzaretti returns from suspension.

Palermo squad: Benussi, Brichetto, Tzorvas; Aguirregaray, Balzaretti, Cetto, Mantovani, Munoz, Pisano, Silvestre; Acquah, Alvarez, Bacinovic, Barreto, Bertolo, Della Rocca, Ilicic, Lores, Migliaccio, Zahavi; Hernandez, Miccoli, Pinilla
