Verona general director Giovanni Gardini is convinced that Scaligeri Coach Andrea Mandorlini will remain at the club.

The tactician has led the Veneto side to two promotions during his tenure and they sit in the top half of Serie A in their first season back in the top flight.

“I don’t think it is in anyone’s interest to end or relationship,” Gardini said to Larena.it. “For this reason, Verona and Mandorlini will move forward together.”

Gardini then answered questions on the futures of club sporting director Sean Sogliano and loan player Juan Iturbe.

“Sogliano? He has a contract until 2015, like me and all the rest of the hierarchy. During the difficult times I said that I didn’t believe Sogliano wanted to leave. The facts now are proving me right.

“We will sign Iturbe, we have already said that. Juan is a world class player, it’s difficult to find a player of his value.”
