Racing Avellaneda President Victor Blanco says Inter’s Diego Milito wants to return to the club.

The 34-year-old forward began his career at the Buenos Aires side before securing a move to Genoa in 2003.

Now, Blanco claims that he will fly to Italy soon in order to begin negotiations with the player, who he says he is extremely interested in signing.

“I am still not in Italy, I will go there within the next 15 days,” Blanco said to Calciomercato.com. “I will be in Milan in a maximum of two weeks.

“We are very interested, we want Milito.

“Even Diego’s father has said that he wants to return to Racing. We hope that is the case.”
