Roberto Mancini ‘isn’t someone who leaves in the middle of a project’ according to Inter President Erick Thohir, after reported interest from Chelsea.
Mancio has been linked with a return to the Premier League during Jose Mourinho’s recent difficulties at Stamford Bridge, but Thohir underlined his ‘full confidence’ in the Coach.
"Roberto has achieved excellent results and that is why he was chosen,” Thohir told Tuttosport.

“He knows how to be a leader, he has character and is also very intelligent.
“At the beginning it wasn’t easy for him, but now we are very happy with the results.
“Do Chelsea want him? You’ll have to ask him.
“I don’t know if he will stay for the next 10-15 years. We have an agreement for the next 2-3 years, I don’t think he’s someone who leaves in the middle of a project.
“Mourinho’s a very good Coach but we’ve never talked about him. Of course, he would also be a Coach of Inter, but it’s not right to make comparisons with Mancini.
“We have full confidence in Roberto and we want him to be part of Inter’s history for many more years.”
