Coach Roberto Mancini admits Roma are one of 'three-four teams better than Inter', but still wants to win.

The Nerazzurri visit the Giallorossi tomorrow evening at 19:45, in a game that could open up or definitively close the race for third place between these two teams.

“We'll come to a decision about Mauro Icardi all together, we'll see,” he told the Press. “There are still many points to be played for, but it's certainly a very important game. It would be nice to win.

“They started out this championship with the aim of winning it. I always said that there were three or four teams that were stronger than us, and now they're back to form.

“[Geoffrey] Kondogbia was in training and will join us. We'll decide whether to start him.

“The Croatian said he had a headache. He probably means it!” joked the Coach.

“Eder always played well and I don't understand why people criticise him. He hasn't scored yet, but that's football. He'll get back to scoring.

“My only regret is having lost so many games in the second half of the season, especially as some of those losses were undeserved. If we win tomorrow, we'll be well-placed.”

Mancini was also asked whether he'd found the final template for his team, after tinkering with a variety of formations.

“People say that now because we're winning, but in truth we didn't change very much.

“We always try to win and that's what we'll do tomorrow. We'll see at the end of it what we'll reap, but that's what we want.

“Kicking off the next season with only one year left in the contract is not a problem for me.

“My favourite game against Roma? There have been so many in the past. Let's hope tomorrow we can have another good one.

“Ivan Perisic had to adapt. Everyone's improving, but it's normal to take some time to adapt to the Italian championship. He still has some great margins for improvement.”
