Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Manchester United will submit their first official offer for Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana tonight.

The 27-year-old shot stopper joined the Nerazzurri last summer on a free transfer and quickly took Samir Handanovic’s place in the starting lineup.

Onana shot to prominence around Europe for his impressive work in the Champions League, keeping eight clean sheets for Inter on route to the final.

As highlighted by Di Marzio, talks between Manchester United and Inter have progressed and the Premier League giants are now expected to present their first official offer for Onana this evening.

The Nerazzurri are hoping that he’ll be in line with their demands – around €50m plus add-ons – which would allow them to reinvest in the transfer market.

Manchester United are looking for a new starting goalkeeper, having changed their minds on a new contract for longtime custodian David de Gea.

Onana made 41 appearances across all competitions for Inter this season, keeping 19 clean sheets and conceding 36 goals.
