The 2023-24 Serie A season will kick off on August 20 and conclude on May 26 with only one midweek round, while the Coppa Italia Final is set for May 15.

The Lega Serie A drew up plans for the new campaign, which will begin in seven weeks.

While many other leagues announced their full fixture lists this week, Serie A is still getting the basics set out, starting with the opening round on August 20.

The fixtures themselves will be revealed on July 5.

Unlike previous terms, there will be only one midweek round, which is scheduled for September 27.

There will be breaks for international duty on September 10, October 15, November 19 and March 24 with the season concluding on May 26, 2024.

The Coppa Italia schedule has also been drawn up, with 44 teams participating including the preliminary round.

Serie A’s top eight sides will enter directly from the Round of 16 that will be played in January, so they are Inter, Napoli, Lazio, Milan, Atalanta, Roma, Juventus and Fiorentina.

Because of the structure of the seeding, there could be a semi-final between Milan and Inter, while we could get Lazio-Roma and Napoli-Juventus in the quarter-finals.

The Final is scheduled for the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on May 15, 2024.
