Francesco Camarda is quickly emerging as the most exciting Italian talent on the scene and his work with Milan has attracted the attention of top clubs including Manchester City.

The 15-year-old centre forward became the youngest Italian goalscorer in the UEFA Youth League when he netted a brace in the Rossoneri Primavera’s 4-0 win over Newcastle United on Tuesday, a performance that immediately thrust him in the limelight.

Camarda, who was born in March 2008, has already started to feature regularly for the Milan Primavera squad and he netted his debut goal in his first league start against Sassuolo.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Camarda’s incredible emergence with Milan has attracted the attention of a number of clubs across Europe, including Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund.

The Rossoneri have no intention of losing the teenager and have scheduled a date to hand him his first professional contract – March 16, when he turns 16. He will be given a three-year contract, the maximum allowed by the FIGC rules.

Camarda dreams of making his Seri A debut with Milan and is happy with the project drawn up with the club and his family.

4 thought on “Manchester City set sights on Milan starlet Camarda”
  1. We need camarda to live up to his potential as he is badly needed for the national team. Hands off man city.

  2. Thus is a nonsense story. If course clubs all over Europe are looking at Camarda but seriously! Like Milan would lose control of the most exciting Italian centre forward we have seen in a decade! Total BS!

  3. Camarda has the potential to become a very good striker. He still has it all to prove though. Good sign that City are looking at him but let’s let him show what he’s worth first and what he’s made of. Forza Camarda!
