Coach Max Allegri is trying to revitalise the 24-year-old, who had a sensational start to the season, but the goals have dried up.

Despite that poor spell, he does still have 15 goals and four assists in 25 competitive games this season.

According to the Daily Star newspaper, Mourinho sees Dybala as the ideal addition to the Manchester United squad and he’d replace Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

He also hopes the presence of ex-Juventus talent scout Javier Ribalta can make a difference to the Argentina international.
