There are reports Manchester United sent a scout to view Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot during France’s Euro 2020 clash with Switzerland.

According to transfer pundit Nicolò Schira, the Premier League giants had someone in the stands monitoring Rabiot in this evening’s Round of 16 tie.

It was hardly an opportunity to see Rabiot in his comfort zone, as in the first half he was used in a brand new role as a left wing-back in France’s 3-4-1-2 formation.

This was also completely ineffective, as Switzerland were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The 26-year-old is not believed to be one of the players who Juventus are willing to sell this summer, although he had already been close to Manchester United in 2019 before joining the Bianconeri as a free agent.

He allowed his contract with Paris Saint-Germain to expire.

Rabiot made 47 competitive appearances for Juve this season, scoring five goals and setting up three more.
