Manchester United have officially said goodbye to Paul Pogba, who is on the verge of making a return to Juventus.

The French midfielder re-joined the Red Devils in the summer of 2016 in a deal worth around €105m, returning only four years after he left for Juventus on a free transfer. Now he seems set to make the same decision again as he prepares to make a return to Serie A.

As reported by Corriere della Sera, Pogba is incredibly close to reaching a full agreement with Juventus, making his return imminent now. Only a few minor details need to be resolved but both parties are confident that everything will go ahead smoothly now.

The Frenchman became a star in Turin earlier in his career, when he made 178 appearances for the club across all competitions. During that period, he scored 34 goals and provided 40 assists, becoming known for his moments of magic. Pogba often failed to show his qualities in England and many felt that he failed to live up to his price tag in Manchester.
