Marca confirms Ronaldo wants to leave Turin in the summer. Although his first option is a return to Real Madrid, the Merengues have already informed the Portuguese they are not interested in welcoming him back to the club.

The 36-year-old has reportedly texted his former teammates and Real Madrid President Florentino Perez but has failed to find a way back to the Stadio Bernabeu.

However, both Manchester United and PSG remain in the race to sign the legendary striker who wants to continue playing in one of Europe’s elite clubs.

His agent Jorge Mendes is reportedly on good terms with the Red Devils’ executives.

Ronaldo’s Juventus contract expires in 2022.

He earns €31m-a-year and would need to take a pay cut if he wants to leave Juventus in the summer.

The Old Lady could sell Ronaldo for just €29m at the end of the season.
