According to The Athletic, Ligue 1 side Lyon have submitted a €25m bid to Chelsea for Milan target Christian Pulisic.
The USMNT international wants more playing time and is keen to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
According to The Athletic, the Rossoneri have made an opening, verbal offer to Chelsea, in the region of €14m, but the Blues have also received a higher, written bid from France, more specifically Lyon.
The report claims the Ligue 1 side have offered €25m plus a sell-on clause that is still being negotiated.
Chelsea’s asking price is in the region of €25m, so it is believed the Blues are keen on sending Pulisic to France.
The former Borussia Dortmund winger has already given his green light to a move to the Stadio Meazza but with no agreement between the Blues and the Rossoneri, the transfer won’t happen.
Milan have recently secured a deal to sign Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea. The Englishman was unveiled as a new Rossoneri player last week.
