Multiple sources in Italy claim Chelsea plan to replace Romelu Lukaku with Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.

The Blues are waiting for Inter’s offer for Lukaku this week and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport and Il Corriere dello Sport, they are willing to replace the Belgium international with Vlahovic.

Monday’s printed edition of CorSport (page 3) says Vlahovic is high on Chelsea’s agenda and is one of the leading candidates to take Lukaku’s spot at Stamford Bridge.

Juventus and Chelsea directors could meet this week as the Bianconeri have already booked a trip to London where they will meet several Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, Aston Villa and West Ham who are interested in other Bianconeri stars.

The Serie A giants have put several players on the market and many English clubs are interested. Vlahovic is believed to be available for €80m-90m.

The Serbia international was Juventus’ leading scorer in 2022-23 but only managed 14 goals in 42 appearances across all competitions.

Massimiliano Allegri’s mentor Giovanni Galeone has recently said that he thinks Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa will leave this summer.
