Lazio’s Senad Lulic warns “I don’t see the desire” which took the Aquile into Champions League contention.

The Biancocelesti lost to Juventus at the weekend, and while that’s hardly a terrible result, the Bosnian wants to see more from his teammates.

“It’s hard for me to talk about that game because I wasn't there,” Lulic, who was suspended for the trip to Turin, said in a Press conference.

“It’s not easy for anyone to go to Turin and win, you have to play a perfect game.

“We glimpsed this defeat even against Crotone, Genoa and Atalanta though. In those three games at home we struggled to win. Now we have to start again.

“I see something different in us compared to before. I don’t see that desire to win tackles and hit on the counter to win games.

“Against Atalanta and Genoa we weren’t the team of a few months before.

“Everyone must have that ‘never-say-die’ spirit within himself, and fight for his teammates, the shirt and the fans. We didn’t do that.

“We need to get our feet back on the ground and start again, as we did in Auronzo. After being there [in pre-season] we started with positive results and no-one expected it.”

Lulic was also dismissive of his ban for insulting Roma defender Antonio Rudiger.

"I missed Crotone, Christmas and Boxing Day…"
