Ahead of Belgium’s final match this international break, Romelu Lukaku is already preparing to continue his push for a move to Inter.

The 29-year-old Belgian forward’s €115m move to Chelsea last summer has not gone well, with the player only scoring eight goals in 26 Premier League appearances. He’s not enjoying his time in England and is reportedly desperate to return to Inter, where he was a much-celebrated figure.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, when Lukaku returns from international duty he’ll reiterate to Chelsea his desire to return to Inter. The Nerazzurri are anxiously waiting for news and they’re willing to pay compensation for a one-year loan deal.

The Belgian striker made 95 appearances during his two-year spell with Inter, scoring 64 goals and providing 16 assists. He proved himself to be a top forward following a tough spell with Manchester United, and the regression at Chelsea this season is no doubt frustrating for the player.

  1. I’d be very happy to see Luku at Inter again, but if we lose Bastoni and Skriniar or de Vrij, what’s the point. Super attacj and weak defence. If Lukaku have bad day and he had many as Inter player, Inter lose easy from every side.

  2. +1 on what InterFan75 said

And to possible lose a man who sacked his agent to stay with us for the man who jumped at the first opportunity? Disgraceful

Skriniar is too great to lose
