Juventus will meet with Palermo this week to discuss a possible deal for forward Matteo Luigi Brunori.

The 27-year-old Italian-Brazilian forward had a great season on loan with the Sicilian side, netting 25 goals in 36 Serie C appearances this campaign, including four in the play-offs. He joined Palermo last summer from the Bianconeri on loan and his current deal in Turin expires in 2024.

As reported by Daniele Longo, Juventus and Palermo will have a meeting this week to discuss Brunori’s future and if a permanent deal can be agreed.

A number of other clubs are keen to sign the Italian-Brazilian forward, including Frosinone, Cremonese and Salernitana.

Juventus paid Pescara €2.85m for Brunori back in January 2020, leaving him with the Under-23 squad before sending him out on loan to Virtus Entella. He only managed three goals and two assists that season, so he’s clearly found his form for Palermo this campaign, being a key figure in their promotion push.
