“This, for me, is the most difficult spell of my career,” the 29-year-old told the publication.
“Fitness isn’t the problem. Rather, it’s that we’re making mistakes we shouldn’t be.
“There was an offer from Inter and also one from Juve two days before the end of the transfer window.
“I told [Wolfsburg] that I wanted a new challenge, but in the end it didn’t happen.”
