Cesena’s President compares Francesco Totti to Pinocchio after last night’s controversial Roma penalty.
The Giallorossi were being held by the Serie B side until deep into stoppage time, when Radja Nainggolan was awarded a penalty for a perceived foul by the goalkeeper.
Totti stepped-up and converted the spot kick, but the controversy doesn’t appear to have died down.

“Last night after the game, live, Totti said the penalty against Cesena was clear!” Giorgio Lugaresi wrote on his Facebook page.
“Nonsense. It was only later that I realised the great Francesco was just trying our a new advert where he plays – in this case quite convincingly – Pinocchio!”
