Lazio President Claudio Lotito confirms Keita Baldé Diao “has always said no” to offers other than Juventus.

The Bianconeri are keen to sign the forward this summer, with his contract expiring at the end of the current season.

The Aquile have been clear that they won’t let him leave on the cheap, while Keita is insistent he only wants Juve, so the deal has been stalled for several weeks.

“We respect the rules,” Lotito told Corriere della Sera.

The Aquile have been clear that they won’t let him leave on the cheap, while Keita is insistent he only wants Juve, so the deal has been stalled for several weeks.

“We respect the rules,” Lotito told Corriere della Sera.

“When we buy someone we take everyone’s needs into account: the financial ambitions of the player, the work of the intermediary and market value.

“If a club wants Keita, then they must also satisfy us.

“We’ve had offers from Italy and abroad, all of them official, the last one on the day of the Supercoppa. The player, so far, has always said no.

“If he has a club he really wants then fine, but we need to get an equal offer. I’m not saying one higher than the others, but at the very least equal to the lowest.

“I don’t work for money like so many others, but mostly out of respect for the rules. I’m ready to fight to the death for certain principles.

“Could Keita take legal action? If you think your rights aren’t being respected, you can take whichever steps you like.

“His absence for the Supercoppa? [Coach Simone] Inzaghi decided on it, and when he told me I didn’t even want to hear his reasons.”
