Lazio President Claudio Lotito blasted the extra cost of policing on clubs, but backs the introduction of tasers.

The law was passed by the Italian Government on Wednesday evening, forcing clubs to devolve 1-3 per cent of their ticket revenue per game towards the cost of extra police hours on match day.

“We will oppose it because this extra charge is unjust and unequal, as it damages the football clubs,” Lotito told Rai Radio 2.

“However, I do applaud the law on different ways of combating violence, like the use of tasers.”
