The Nerazzurri had won seven Serie A games in a row before their 4-1 capitulation to Atalanta and go into this weekend distracted by the upcoming Champions League showdown with Tottenham Hotspur.

“The odds are stacked against us, but no game is impossible and we can get a result against anyone,” said the Frosinone Coach in his Press conference.

“We know of the difficulties, especially against Inter, and know what we’re going into. The loss to Atalanta if anything makes it worse for us, because Inter will be very determined, but we are curious to see how far we’ve come. We are here to amaze. All it takes is that little pinch of courage…

“Frosinone must be organised, have the right attitude and interpret the right moments to attack one of the best teams in Europe.”

It’s a special fixture for Andrea Pinamonti, the Italy Under-21 international striker who is on loan from Inter.

“He is a lad of great quality and has scored some big goals for us, but this is his most difficult match. When you are in the shadows, nobody expects much of you, but the pressure changes once you make your mark. He needs to get used to carrying the weight of expectation.

“At the same time, let’s not forget he is 19 years old and only got his driving licence 10 days ago.”

Emil Hallfredsson and Danilo Soddimo miss out, while Camillo Ciano and Cristian Molinaro have made the trip, but face fitness tests at the last minute.

“Molinaro has practically recovered, while Ciano intensified his training, although I don’t think he’s ready to play.”

Frosinone squad for Inter: Sportiello, Bardi, Iacobucci; Ariaudo, Salamon, Capuano, Krajnc, Brighenti, Goldaniga, Beghetto, Zampano, Ghiglione, Molinaro; Vloet, Cassata, Crisetig, Chibsah, Maiello, Gori, Besea; Campbell, Ciofani, Pinamonti, Perica, Ciano, Matarese
