Former Milan player Giovanni Lodetti believes it would be crazy to sign Verona’s Juan Iturbe for a fee of €25m.

The Rossoneri are reported to be in a bidding war with Juventus” data-scaytid=”5″>Juventus to secure the Argentine’s services, but the 71-year-old says the player does not have the credentials to command that sort of fee.

“We have all gone mad, the market is crazy,” Lodetti told Milan Channel. “Iturbe isn’t worth €25m.

“It’s true that he has done well, he is a good player but there are a lot of doubts.

“He has never been at a big club and he would need to integrate himself into the team.

“We need great players who can make the difference. If you are signed for €25m you have to show, give, demonstrate and make yourself appreciated by the people at San Siro.”
