Atalanta are reportedly asking for €10m in total to close a deal with Milan for Josip Ilicic, but the Rossoneri are not going beyond €4m.

SportMediaset reports the negotiations are at a standstill between the Nerazzurri and the Diavolo and believes the discussions will go on until the last day of the transfer market.

Report: Milan agree with Ilicic, but not Atalanta

Ilicic arrived at Atalanta from Fiorentina in July 2017 for a reported €6.4m and signed a five-year deal until June 2022 with an option for a further year.

The 33-year-old seems set for a move away this summer and Milan are in pole position to secure his signature.

But Milan continue to negotiate for the striker and the broadcaster believes Milan are struggling to meet the demands in Bergamo, as the Orobici are asking for more than twice as much as they are willing to offer.

  1. I think the 4m is the value, 6m is for the inconvenience of him potentially coming back to haunt them twice per season for 3 years
