Milan have reportedly reached an agreement with Josip Ilicic but are still struggling to find a solution with Atalanta.

Tuttosport reports the Bergamaschi are asking for a figure between €6m and €8m, while the Rossoneri would like to pay €4m for the Slovenian.

The 33-year-old was one of the standout performers of Atalanta during the early success under Gian Piero Gasperini, as he arrived from Fiorentina in July 2017.

The striker has a deal until June 2022 with an option for a further year with the Nerazzurri, but is pushing for a move to San Siro this summer.

Milan are back in the Champions League and are looking to bolster their squad and have lost Gigio Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu on free transfers after 2020-21.

The newspaper claims Milan are close to completing a move for the former Palermo forward, who is capped 72 times by Slovenia, but are still not agreeing on the transfer fee with the Orobici.

Ilicic played 28 games in Serie A 2020-21, contributing six goals and 10 assists, and has appeared 149 times in total snice joining the Orobici.
