Liverpool are reportedly pulling out of the race for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner, who has been linked with Inter and Juventus.

The Champions League holders had been the undoubted favourites for his signature, but The Mirror claims this evening that Liverpool are refusing to go above €35m.

There is a release clause in Werner’s contract with the Bundesliga outfit worth €60m and it seems the Reds want to negotiate it down massively.
