“Could I still play for this team? I think it’d be a struggle, as the midfield is the area of the squad with the most quality and quantity,” smiled the former Perugia, Palermo and Lazio” data-scaytid=”10″>Lazio man.

“We sat down with the President and director of sport to create our idea of football that we want to develop at Genoa. All choices have been shared between us.

“I am in debt with the President. He gave me the opportunity to be a Coach at youth team level and then promoted me to the senior bench in the space of two years.

“I think that for Coaches, as is true of players, the performances do the talking rather than age or experience.”
