After months of negotiations, Pol Lirola is finally set to complete transfer from Fiorentina to Olympique Marseille.

Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and more are all confident the deal has been done for €13m and he should have his medical tomorrow.

Lirola already joined Marseille on loan in January and has been adamant he wanted to make the move permanent, but the clubs could not agree terms.

Marseille initially refused to pay the €12m option to buy, then tried and failed to negotiate a lower fee.

In the end, they were forced to pay €13m to sign the Spanish wing-back outright.

Lirola spent practically his entire career in Italy at Juventus, Sassuolo and Fiorentina, arriving for the Bianconeri youth academy in 2015.

With the 24-year-old finally heading to Marseille, Fiorentina can bring in his replacement, Davide Zappacosta from Chelsea.

That deal has already been agreed and they were just waiting for Lirola to leave in order to spark the domino effect on the transfer market.
