Emerson Palmieri has officially completed his loan move from Chelsea to Olympique Lyonnais.
The Italy international was part of the squad that won UEFA EURO 2020 this summer and was looking for more playing time.
He had been close to Napoli and mentioned for a return to Roma, but has now joined Lyon on a one-season loan.
It is a dry loan, meaning there is no option to buy, as first Chelsea activated their ability to extend his contract to June 2023.
