The Giallorossi remain under fire despite Wednesday’s 4-0 win over Frosinone, as that was their first victory since the opening round at Torino.

Coach Eusebio Di Francesco put the team in a training retreat after the loss to Bologna and revamped the tactics to a 4-2-3-1 formation, using Pastore and Cengiz Under in the roles that suit them best.

It paid off against Frosinone, but this is the real test of their mettle and Dzeko returns to the centre-forward role after he was rested.

However, Under is shelved in favour of Alessandro Florenzi in a more advanced role with Stephan El Shaarawy, leaving Davide Santon at right-back.

Steven Nzonzi and Daniele De Rossi provide the protective barrier in midfield.

Lazio are on fine form after a poor start, notching together five consecutive wins between Serie A and the Europa League.

Last season’s joint Capocannoniere Immobile is finding his scoring boots again and is partnered by Luis Alberto, despite rumours Felipe Caicedo could get the nod.

Milinkovic-Savic and Lucas Leiva pull the midfield strings, but Stefan Radu and Jordan Lukaku are out of action.

Martin Caceres is the surprise pick rather than Wallace in the back three.

There has been only one draw between these sides since January 2015, with Roma winning six and Lazio two.

You won’t see the Irriducibili Lazio ultras in the front few rows or their traditional choreography at the start of the match, as they are protesting against “repression and the self-righteous.”
