Leonardo admits “the result could certainly have been different” as Inter were held by Brescia and risked defeat.

Samuel Eto'o had given the Nerazzurri the lead, but in the final five minutes Andrea Caracciolo equalised and had a penalty saved by Julio Cesar.

“We had many chances and the result could certainly have been different,” said the Coach after their Friday night game.

“Brescia defend well and have players who can invent something in attack, like Caracciolo and Alessandro Diamanti.

“We conceded a goal from a set piece that changed the game and should certainly have finished it off before then.

“However, we won't make a drama out of it. Our recent form has been excellent, even if obviously the draw is not a satisfactory result.”

As Milan welcome bottom of the table Bari on Sunday, the leaders have the opportunity to go seven points clear.

“There are many games to go in the Scudetto race and anything can still happen,” argued Leonardo.

“When we say we're taking it one game at a time, we really mean it. We reached this position in the table due to a great consistency of results. It is very difficult to achieve that in Italy.”
