“What do I expect?  I’m not bitter [about my past], I’ve had my experiences and it’s the worst moments when you learn the most,” he said at a Press conference.

“It hasn’t been a good time for me, but I want to focus on the future. I don’t want think about what to expect but on what I want to show, thus all my qualities.

“Klose? We haven’t spoken. I don’t have a close relationship [with Jurgen Klopp], but I can count on him.

“He taught me so much, and the club and team come first. His ideas are instilled in the players [he’s coached]. If I have any doubts, I can always refer to him.

“Who am I inspired by? Among my favourite players are Iniesta, Xavi and Zidane. They’re players you can learn a lot from.

“Can I be a second Biglia? I spoke with the captain but not about positions. It’ll be the task of the Coach in how and where to use me on the pitch.”
