Leicester City are leading the race for Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes by offering a reported €22m (£18.9m).
According to Mediaset Premium, Claudio Ranieri has his sights set firmly on the 22-year-old Argentine.
He spent last season on loan at Empoli and came up through the Boca Juniors academy.
Milan are very interested in Paredes, but Leicester have the upper hand of Champions League football and readily-available funds.
