Newly-promoted Lecce are getting busy on the transfer market, securing Adam Gueddar from Amiens and in advanced talks with CSKA Moscow midfielder Kristijan Bistrovic.

The Salentini won the Serie B title last season to secure their return to the top flight and are determined to make it stick.

According to Sky Sport Italia, they are on the verge of agreeing terms with CSKA Moscow for 24-year-old midfielder Bistrovic.

He had two loan spells in Turkey over the last couple of years, at Kasimpasa and then Karagumruk.

Meanwhile, today Lecce pipped Juventus to the signature of 17-year-old talent Gueddar as a free agent after he left the Amiens youth academy.

Born in France and playing his international football for Morocco, the creative midfielder signed the contract this afternoon.

“The player signed for three years with an option for another two seasons, because he wants to be part of this project,” agent Francois Abdou Saadi told Marca.

“That opportunity to move rapidly from the youth squad into the first team is what seduced the player. Lecce are a side that give opportunities to young players and they took a gamble on him.”
