Lazio's hopes of a top four finish have been hit by a four-match ban handed to Francelino Matuzalem.

The Brazilian was given the punishment today after TV evidence was used for an altercation during Lazio's 1-0 win over Cesena.

The former Napoli player was caught on camera striking Luis Jimenez in the face in an off-the-ball incident.

Midfielder Matuzalem was thus handed a three-match stop for his actions, but he'll also miss another game as he was booked earlier in the Cesena encounter too.

Inter's Lucio will miss the Milan derby following his yellow card in the 1-0 win over Lecce on Sunday afternoon.

Mareco (Brescia), Conti (Cagliari), Giacomazzi (Lecce), Giovinco, Dzemaili, Valiani (Parma), Lauro (Cesena), Llama (Catania) and Pinzi (Udinese) will also serve 90-minutes stops.
