Leandro Paredes is continuing to refuse offers from Galatasaray as Lazio keep in contact with the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder.

The 29-year-old Argentinian has returned to the French capital after a season on loan with Juventus and has not been included in Luis Enrique’s project at the club.

With one year left on his contract in Paris, a departure this summer seems likely for Paredes, but he’s not interested in accepting an offer from Galatasaray.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Lazio are still in close contact with Paredes, keen to understand if a contract agreement can be found.

PSG want around €5m for the 29-year-old, but they could be forced to lower this fee due to his contract situation and obvious redundancy at the club.

Lazio sold Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Al-Hilal for around €42m earlier this month and still haven’t picked up any midfielders to replace him, leaving Maurizio Sarri anxious at the pre-season training camp in Auronzo di Cadore.
