Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio are scoring for fun at the Olimpico, but it’s a completely different story on the road.

The Biancocelesti suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat against Bologna on Sunday, the fourth away game without a win, including a 1-0 defeat to Galatasaray in the Europa League.

Serie A Highlights: Bologna 3-0 Lazio

Lazio opened with a 3-1 win away against newly promoted Empoli, but haven’t secured more than one point in the next three trips.

The Aquile haven’t scored in open play in the last 360 minutes away from home, with the only goal coming from a penalty spot in the 1-1 draw with Torino.

In the meantime, Lazio are unbeaten at home and have scored 11 goals in their first three home games, including the 3-2 win over Roma in the Italian capital.

The only clean sheet, however, arrived in the Europa League against Lokomotiv Moscow last time, when the Aquile picked up a 2-0 win in the second group stage game.

The poor away form means Lazio sit sixth in Serie A with 11 points after seven games and host reigning champions Inter after the international break.

Their next away game is against Hellas Verona on October 24 and Sarri must fix the issues to turn things around on the road.

But the upcoming game at the Bentegodi is against a side who have picked up wins over Roma and Spezia in their last two home games, scoring seven times in the process.
