Gustav Isaksen is expected to arrive in Rome on Sunday evening before conducting his medical ahead of his move from Midtjylland to Lazio.
The 22-year-old will fly to Italy and is scheduled to undergo his medical on Monday morning according to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio on Sunday afternoon.
Pending a positive outcome from his medical assessments, Isaksen is expected to sign his contract shortly afterwards, with an official announcement expected to follow in due course.
It is expected that the Dane will sign a five-year deal at the Stadio Olimpico worth around €1.5m in annual wages.
Lazio are expected to have to pay Midtjylland €10m up front for Isaksen’s services, plus up to €7m in performance related add-ons as well as a percentage of any future sell-on.
Isaksen had previously been linked with a move to Milan, but the Rossoneri instead opted to bring in Samuel Chukwueze from Villarreal.
