Memphis Depay’s lawyer Sebastien Ledure insists he is not in talks with Inter over a potential move to the Stadio Meazza in January.

The Dutch striker had been linked with a move to Inter in a potential swap deal with Joaquin Correa.

According to Diario AS, Barcelona coach Xavi rejected the swap deal and Depay’s lawyer Ledure has now confirmed that he is not in talks with the Nerazzurri.

“There are no negotiations ongoing for Memphis to join Inter. I can deny all these links — it’s not a possibility we are discussing,” he said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

However, the Italian transfer expert claims Depay will leave Nou Camp in the current transfer window given that he’s been lacking of playing time in the first part of the season and that his contract expires in June.

Juventus had held talks with the striker last summer but ended up signing Arek Milik on loan with an option to buy from Marseille.

Depay has scored one goal in four appearances with Barcelona this season. The 28-year-old joined the Catalans on a free transfer from Lyon in the summer of 2021.

Ledure is the same agent who made Romelu Lukaku’s return to Inter possible over the summer, persuading Chelsea to loan the Belgian star to his former club.
