Former Inter defender Aleksander Kolarov backs Rafaela Pimenta, saying Lazar Samardzic’s father ‘lied’ about the agent’s involvement in the collapsed deal with the Nerazzurri.

Mladen Samardzic and Pimenta exchanged words on Tuesday after the Udinese midfielder failed to complete a move to Inter.

Samardzic’s father said he didn’t know Pimenta, who was not entitled to negotiate with Inter on behalf of his son.

Kolarov, who worked on the deal with Inter and Pimenta, backed the Brazilian agent.

“I confirm Rafaela’s version,” he told Gazzetta.

“I introduced her to his father and even joined some meetings with my brother. Her version is accurate; I am sorry I heard so many lies from the lad’s father.”

  1. So apparently Samardzic has a “toxic” father (opportunist might fit better) so it’s time he stops allowing him to interfere in his career.
